Profile

Alongside his graduation (Cum Laude) from the Department of Industrial Design at HIT (Israel) in 2005, Adi had already begun his professional and academic career. He started gaining experience by providing advanced surfacing CAD services to clients while also serving as a teaching assistant at HIT.

Among his initial clients, Adi established a strong professional connection with Ofer Zick, one of his degree professors, who later became his business partner. Together, they provided design services under the "LIFT - Product Creation" design studio, which was active from 2012 to 2020.

Since 2020, Adi has continued to offer design services and has played a role in leading product development teams. Adi has gained expertise in multiple fields of product design, including packaging and branding design, consumer and homeware plastics, industrial design, and major medical device projects.

In the academic field, Adi has been teaching in the Department of Industrial Design since 2006, offering various academic and technical courses. Since 2022, he has been a member of the official academic personnel of the department.

As is evident from my portfolio, my work spans across various fields of product design. I take pleasure in bridging ideas between these fields, enriching the design processes, and nurturing my own interests. I seamlessly blend aesthetics, functionality, and user experience with innovative technology, materials, and manufacturing techniques.

I strongly believe in the impact of design in making things better. This impact extends to our culture, society, and overall well-being. Therefore, as designers, we bear a significant responsibility. I impart this perspective to my students as an integral part of my teaching, along with other essential professional principles I strive to instill: simplicity, feasibility, and a commitment to high aesthetic values.
